We provide clean, renewable energy for vehicles and home or commercial heating oil systems. AmeriGreen Biofuels are ASTM certified, reduce greenhouse gas emissions and provide increased performance through higher lubricity characteristics than conventional petroleum. And now Amerigreen BioFuels are comparable in cost to petroleum, so, when you use our fuels, you are helping America win its energy independence!
BHS Energy is a family owned and operated manufacturing company in Pennsylvania with the purpose of creating energy producing equipment. Currently we produce the "Slugger", a biomass briquette extrusion press designed for pressing grass, wood, and other biomass materials into a compressed combustible fuel.
The patent pending Slugger biomass briquette presses have the lowest cost per pound of throughput of any briquetter on the market. It is designed to be a reliable and easy to use method of producing combustible fuel from various biomass feedstocks. The Slugger is powered by a farm tractor's PTO (or optional 3-phase electric) and is appropriate for a small energy producer who wishes to produce fuel for themselves or for sale.
Currently BHS Energy sells systems directly in the United States and Canada. Please contact us with any questions you may have and thank you for your interest.
There is a wealth of Biomass Crops and Biofuel Energy research on the Internet from universities, government agencies, and commercial and non-profit entities. Our goal is to take that knowledge, couple it with the experiences of actual biomass growers, and turn it into an all encompassing, freewheeling, opinionated, and fun forum to discuss Energy Crops.

CTI BioChemicals is a vertically integrated renewable energy company. In addition to its current technology, CTIBC is developing the next generation biofuel processing technology that involves low pressure / low temperature hydrocracking. This technology will convert renewable feedstock into bio-jet fuel, bio-gasoline and bio-diesel that are virtually identical to petroleum-based jet fuel, gasoline and diesel. Because feedstock plays a significant role in the financial success of renewable fuel production, CTIBC is developing sustainable feedstock production capabilities throughout the world. These facilities will provide a reliable, low cost oil feedstock for its customers and processing plants.
