Feeding Chickens (Summary)

An important part of raising chickens is feeding. Feeding makes up the major cost of production and good nutrition is reflected in the bird's performance and its products. This publication discusses feeding traditional rations as well as mixing your own rations, organic diets, and special concerns for feeding chickens in some of the pasture-based models discussed in the companion ATTRA publication Sustainable Poultry: Production Overview.
