New England Vegetable & Fruit Conference

December 15-17, 2009
Manchester, New Hampshire

New England Vegetable & Fruit Conference and Trade Show will be held this December 15, 16, 17 at the Radisson Hotel in Manchester, NH and will include 27 educational sessions over 3 days, covering major vegetable, berry and tree fruit crops as well as various special topics. A Farmer to Farmer meeting after each morning and afternoon session will bring speakers and farmers together for informal, in-depth discussion on certain issues.




Farminar Series

Mark your calendars for the Fall "Farminar Series" - Tuesday nights throughout November and December. These online 90-minute interactive seminars will focus on a variety of beginning farmer, next generation, and farm succession planning tools. Led by presenters Dave Baker, and John Baker from the Beginning Farmer Center; Craig Chase with ISU Extension; Gary Huber and farmer members of Practical Farmers of Iowa.




Illinois Specialty Crops, Agritourism, and Organic Conference

January 6-8, 2010
Springfield, Illinois

The conference will include the traditional concurrent breakout sessions on fruits, vegetables, herbs, irrigation, agritourism/marketing, and business management. New to the conference this year will be two organic tracks.

Horticulture Industries Show

This two-day grower meeting and trade show is sponsored by the University of Arkansas, Oklahoma State University, Tulsa Community College, the Samuel Roberts Noble Foundation and the Kerr Center for Sustainable Agriculture. It has consistently provided growers the latest information on vegetables, fruit, herbs, Christmas trees, farmers market crops and public gardening issues. Growers from Oklahoma, Arkansas and surrounding states are welcome to attend.

Minnesota Organic Conference

This conference provides great information about organic agriculture to excite experienced organic producers as well as people new to this farming system. Besides the keynote speakers there will be more than 30 breakout sessions on organic production of crops, dairy, livestock, fruits and vegetables, marketing, and many more topics. Integrated Pest Management

Practical Tools and Solutions for Sustaining Family Farms Conference
