Ethanol has reduced the price of gasoline from 17 to 39.5 cents per gallon, according to a new study by the Iowa State University Center for Agricultural and Rural Development. The largest impact of ethanol on gasoline from 1995 t0 2007 was found in the Midwest region where gasoline prices were reduced by 39.5¢ per gallon reports the Dakota Farmer.
