OSU's Integrated Plant Protection Center is sponsoring an afternoon farm walk (2-5 PM) at Persephone Farm, an established, certified organic vegetable farm in the foothills of Oregon's Cascade Mountains. Conservation biological control methods such as insectary plantings and beetle banks will be highlighted. The event will include hands-on identification of beneficial insects and native pollinators, ending with a vegetarian pot luck. For information, contact gwendolyn@science.oregonstate.edu
