Position Description:
High Desert is looking for hardworking and passionate team members. Work will include planting, weeding, harvesting, record keeping and marketing farm produce to restaurants, farmers markets, retail outlets, and schools. Intern will work in greenhouses and field production. Our goal is to create a fun, educational work experience that supports a viable business. We engage with the larger farming community through harvest dinners, volunteer work days, and "hoe downs!"

Position Description:
Apprenticeships and farm hand positions still available for the 2019 season! Apprentices and farm hands will take part in every aspect of small-scale, sustainable vegetable production, including raising transplants, planting, weeding, mulching, trellising, harvesting and marketing. Interns should leave the farm with a good grasp of the skills and knowledge needed to start their own farms. Farmhand positions may be available for those with prior farming experience.

Position Description:
Internship/Agroforestry student will learn by doing at our farm. A short term lease arrangement will be worked out. The student will designate an area of interest, and focus in on a complementary farm enterprise that they will startup and run themselves. We will provide some level of mentorship, but not as much as would be provided to a brand new farmer or new employee. Really we will be farming together and focusing in on our own enterprises while sharing land, experience and resources. We expect that you have worked on several farms before or are a very rambunctious self taught...

Slow Farm's Leadership Team is looking for several Farmhand farm assistants. Farmhands support and manage daily routines and tasks of operating the farm; for example planting, weeding, managing pests, harvesting, staffing the farmstand, serving customers, operating tools, wholesale distribution, building infrastructure, etc.
