General Description: The farm is located between stunningly beautiful Red Rock formations in Moab Utah. Just a few miles from the Colorado River and several National Parks. This is a very beautiful location with lots of outdoor activities. We have 6 acres, 2 are in production with 6 greenhouses. This is our 4th season and we are constantly growing and adding new varieties to our growing list. We are committed to organic farming. We practice sustainability, composting, crop rotation and cover cropping. We provide much of our community with our organic harvest through CSAs, Farmers Market and selling to local restaurants and grocery stores. Please visit our website for more information.

Skills Desired: Good personal skills, hard working attitude, some farming is helpful, but is not mandatory.

Educational Opportunities: Learning all business aspects of running an organic CSA Farm

Stipend: Available according to experience and length of stay

Housing: Sharing a 20 foot tepee with a self contained fully functional kitchen facility at your disposal with access to sauna and hot tub.

Internship Details: You will be working side by side with me the owner with your hands in all aspects of farming. Planting, harvesting, some tractor work composting, etc. You will be working 45 hrs a week living on the farm and eating our food we grow. We will be attending farmers market once a week. You will be expected to learn all aspects of farming, irrigation, composting, planting, harvesting and working farmers market.
