Internship Details: We have three intern positions available for our 2019 season. We strive for enthusiasm and positive energy on our farm. Farming is very rewarding but it is a physical job. You must be in good physical condition, with the ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and work 10+ hour days spring, summer and fall with all the changes in the weather during those seasons: rain, wind, intense heat and freezing temperatures. In addition to our website, we have a facebook page and Instagram for the farm that has some pictures and updates from previous farm interns that will give a glimpse of farm life. Our farm is located on the kitsap peninsula. We are very close to the beaches of Liberty Bay, Puget Sound and the Hood Canal. The Hood Canal bridge is 15 mins away and it leads to the Olympic mountains(30 mins away) and the Pacific Ocean (3 hrs away). We are 50 mins (including ferry time) from downtown Seattle.
