General Farm Description: We are a four season market farm specializing in a large spectrum of vegetables, herbs, flowers, and some fruits. We are currently farming 1 acre using sustainable practices, as we are Certified Naturally Grown. Our farm sells at farmers markets, through food hubs, a CSA, and sells direct to several chefs. We host several farm to table events every year to highlight our produce in a variety of ways and connect with our community.

Internship Details:

We are ideally looking for an individual who is looking to eventually transition to an assistant farm manager role or eventually start their own farm. We partner with CEFS (center for environmental farming systems) to help guide you through the apprenticeship and have additional resources, networking, and learning opportunities along with everything you will learn on farm. You will learn every aspect of the market farming operation and will have the opportunity to focus on some of your interests.

Planting, seeding, harvesting, washing/packing, weeding, and bed prepping are all common tasks you will be doing.

Average hours per week is 30 (but we can get closer to full time if you’re able to work a farmers market)

Must be able to lift 30-40lbs regularly and be comfortable with physically demanding work in all types of weather.

This apprenticeship is what you make it and we are looking for someone who is driven and eager to learn.


Educational Opportunities: Through our partnership with CEFS there will be a multitude of learning opportunities! Our farm is also very diversified so we can help you focus on any areas of interest.

Skills Desired: A willingness to learn and work hard, be able to lift 30lbs regularly, and some agriculture experience is ideal.

Meals: Not regularly but you are welcome to take home produce and occasionally lunch will be provided.

Stipend: Hourly pay starts at $15 with frequent performance based raises.
