Applications Open for Arkansas Food Systems Fellowship

The inaugural Arkansas Food Systems Fellowship will bring together a diverse group of 24 Arkansans to nourish leadership, exchange ideas, and foster new partnerships. Over five months, through a blend of in-person and virtual sessions, fellows will delve into the history of Arkansas agriculture, explore systemic change, and hone their expertise in food systems and leadership. The Arkansas Food Systems Fellowship will build upon the potential within the Arkansan local food movement and equip its leaders with the resources, relationships, and coordinating support needed to effectively realize state-wide transformational food systems change. The fellowship includes a two-day in-person retreat, four virtual cohort sessions, and a $500 stipend for participants. The fellowship is convened by the Wallace Center’s Food Systems Leadership Network and facilitated in partnership with Tina Gilbert of Next Level Training Solutions Group. All are welcome to apply, and applications are open through July 8, 2024.
