Non-US citizens already in the US or Canada are welcome to apply. Inquiries from other parts of the world cannot be easily accommodated.

Non-US citizens residing in other countries who seek training opportunities on US farms should refer to information in the Alternative Farming Systems Information Center (AFSIC) publication, "Educational and Training Opportunities in Sustainable Agriculture". This directory includes contact information for farm-related multi-national exchange programs as well as U.S. and non-U.S. agencies, institutions, and organizations that offer agriculture-related internships and training. For more information about this directory, contact AFSIC staff by email at afsic@nal.usda.gov.
