MESA is a non-profit organization dedicated to the health of the environment and the continuing education of land stewards from around the globe. MESA is the only J-1 Exchange Program of its kind devoted exclusively to the needs of environmentally responsible farmers in the U.S. and abroad.

MESA Mission: MESA strengthens sustainable farming communities around the world by coordinating training and cross-cultural opportunities for international farmers and their U.S. counterparts.

Current Programs: MESA sponsors annual 8-12 month on-the-farm training programs for global farmers, matching them with U.S. host farms practicing organic and/or sustainable agriculture. The Program offers practical, vocational training that exposes young aspiring farmers to every aspect of small-farm management. MESA also arranges organized farm training programs for Americans with our partner networks abroad.

MESA, Inc. is a (501)(c)3) not-for-profit organization and a U.S. Department of State-designated Exchange Visitor Training Program. Please view our Web site for more information.
