Stipend: The stipend is basically a work exchange for discounted rent. Work 10hrs/wk. Rent is $250+util. Weekly share of eggs, in-season veggies, and raw milk is provided. There are opportunities for a self-starter to make money, but our goal is not profit --rather, slowing down, and building community. You'll be able to work a part-time job, live in a cool city, and do other things, without the pressure of full-time work.

Stipend: The Summer Intern will receive a monthly living stipend of $250. The summer position may or may not include AmeriCorps benefits, which would include an Education Award upon completion of the 300 hour term, and loan forebearance. Loans can be differed regardless of whether the positions ends up to be AmeriCorps or not. We will know by the end of February if we are able to include AmeriCorps incentives or not. <br><br> The year-long Garden Educator/Coordinator will receive a living stipend of $425/month before taxes, medical insurance, FICA, unemployment insurance, workman's comp insurance and two AmeriCorps education awards totaling $5,730 upon successful completion of a year of service. All federal loans can be put into forbearance during the service year and the Corporation for National and Community Service will pay any accrued interest on said loans upon successful completion of the service year.
