USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service has released a new documentary on Hugh Hammond Bennett and the history of NRCS. The 21-minute video looks at the origins of soil conservation in the United States, from the Dust Bowl and the Great Depression to the establishment of a permanent agency to help the Nation recover. NRCS calls it "an inspiring reminder of why private lands conservation is so important, now and into the future."
