Permalink Kansas Leveraging Local Food Demand for Rural Revitalization

The National Sustainable Agriculture Coalition has released God, Country, and Groceries, a 10-page report on how Kansans are leveraging the growing demand for local/regional food produce to revitalize rural communities and strengthen family farms. The report looks at how Kansas producers have succeeded with local food by utilizing federal support programs. It also explores how communities have united to support local food initiatives.
