The National Organic Standards Board (NOSB) will meet April 24-26, 2019, in Seattle to discuss substances petitioned for addition to or deletion from the National List of Allowed and Prohibited Substances, substances due to sunset from the National List in 2021, and guidance on organic policies. During meetings, the NOSB listens to public comments, discusses agenda items, and then votes on recommendations to the Secretary in a public forum. The meetings are open to the public, and no registration is required, except to sign up for oral comments. NOSB invites public comment on agenda topics in writing, in-person at the Spring 2019 business meeting in Seattle, or during an April 16, 2019, or April 18, 2019, webinar. The comment period and requests for oral speaking slots will both will close April 4, 2019.
