Permalink Southern SARE Announces Graduate Student Grant Recipients

The Southern Sustainable Agriculture Research & Education (SSARE) program has announced the funded projects for the 2018 Graduate Student Grants program. Master’s and PhD students enrolled at accredited institutions throughout the Southern region will receive a total of $267,815 for 18 sustainable agriculture research projects. The projects will include research on cover crops, insect pest control, weed management, the effects of pesticides on insect populations, pollinator habitat, soil quality, and more. A complete list of funded projects is available online, and project results will also be made available online.
