Permalink USDA Releases Chesapeake Bay Action Plan

USDA logoUSDA has released a Chesapeake Bay Watershed Action Plan that outlines Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) goals for the next three years for improving the water quality and overall health of the Chesapeake Bay watershed. The plan relies on financial and technical support from current and future Farm Bill conservation programs. It includes a goal of helping producers implement conservation practices that improve water quality, soil health, and wildlife habitat, as well as goals of training professionals to plan and implement conservation practices and increasing public involvement.
