The Illinois Department of Agriculture (IDOA) is accepting proposals for federal specialty crop grants. The agency anticipates Illinois will receive approximately $525,000 from USDA to distribute to state projects that expand the availability of fresh, locally grown produce and strengthen the competitiveness of the specialty crop industry. Priority issues for projects to address are listed online.
Applications are due April 28, 2017.
