Indiana State Department of Agriculture is accepting applications for the USDA Specialty Crop Multi-State Grant. This program offers grants to solely enhance the competitiveness of specialty crops by funding collaborative, multi-state projects that address the following regional or national level specialty crop issues: food safety; plant pests and disease; research; crop-specific projects addressing common issues; and marketing and promotion. To ensure collaboration, every project must include at least two out-of-state partners, which can be made up of state agencies, tribal governments, universities, non-profits and other specialty crop organizations.
Applications are due by September 18, 2017.
