Permalink Northeast SARE Research for Novel Approaches Grant

New for 2018 grant awards, the Northeast SARE Research and Education grant program seeks preproposals for projects that research novel approaches in sustainable agriculture. The research should establish the feasibility of the novel approaches, with the expectation that the new information will be used later in educational programs that promote farmer adoption of the novel approaches. Approaches are defined for this program as production practices, marketing and business management strategies, and other methods and techniques used in making agriculture more productive, environmentally sound, and socially sustainable. The project should perform an in-depth examination of the feasibility and benefit expected from the novel approach.
The deadline for preproposals is July 6, 2017.
