Permalink Artisanal Grain Production

This free afternoon OGRAIN field day at Hazzard Free Farm Grains and Beans will cover all aspects of small-scale grain production, including cleaning and processing for corn and small grains. The day will begin with a walk through the fields to discuss planting, weeding, and harvesting. Learn simple techniques for seed selection and saving, along with small-scale options for drying and cleaning. Take a look at the mill room and cap off the day with a trip six miles north to check out some trial beds in the nursery.
