Permalink On-Farm Poultry Processing Workshop

March 17, 2018
Story City, Iowa

Iowa Organic Association offers an opportunity to learn about safe and efficient poultry processing for on-farm exempt processing (fewer than 1,000 birds), from the farm to the freezer. In this afternoon workshop, Ty and Bobbie Gustafson of Story City Locker will review safe, small-scale butchering procedures you can implement on your farm. Then, meet with local organic farmers to see a great processing set-up.
