Conservation Innovation Grants: Caribbean Area

Applications must be submitted by May 15, 2024.
USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service announced the availability of Conservation Innovation Grants Caribbean Area Program funding to stimulate the development and adoption of innovative conservation approaches and technologies. CIG generally funds pilot projects, field demonstrations, and on-farm conservation research. Priorities for the Caribbean Area are water quality, water harvesting on dry lands, climate-smart agriculture, conservation in urban agricultural systems, invasive species control, and innovative local-scale waste management systems. Applications are accepted from eligible entities for projects carried out in Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. A total of $500,000 is available, with a maximum individual grant of $100,000.
