Internship information
General Farm Description: Coyote Family Farm is a 2-acre intensive market garden located in central Sonoma County. We use ecological, low-till methods to grow a diverse array of produce for our farm share (CSA), farmers market, and some local wholesale. We also grow a small quantity of flowers, and raise a small flock of laying hens. The farm is located on a larger property of beautiful pastureland and oak and bay forest. We emphasize quality and consistency, efficiency, a positive work environment and good communication. We love the challenge of continuous improvement of the whole farm system for the well-being of the land, the people who work here, and the farm business. The farm property is also home to families with kids and other non-farm employees, and we enjoy some community activities like monthly potlucks and meetings, weekly meditation, and other events. Compensation includes hourly wage, housing, and produce and eggs.
