Internship information
General Farm Description: One of Long Islands only full service Dairy and Meat farms. We milk cows and goats, pasteurize on farm and bottle, make cheese and yogurt. We also process our own meat and small scale vegetable production.CRAFT Member Farm? No

Internship Details:
Many opportunities from cheese room production, to animal care and milking, farmers markets, deliveries, crop work, cleaning / labor. If you are looking to start your own small scale sustainable farm this is the place to learn! Started from scratch 12 years ago.
Must have a love for animals, during birthing season we will be dealing with 200+ baby goats and cow!!!!
Educational Opportunities: Cornell classes available to right person, HAACP training.
Skills Desired: Clean Drivers License a must. Desire to learn sustainable agriculture.
