General Farm Description: PAID INTERNSHIP STARTING AT $100 PER WEEK! Come learn and be a part of a PROFITABLE full time organic farm. North Pulaski Farms is a certified organic fruit, vegetables and industrial hemp farm located in central Arkansas, 25 miles north of Little Rock. We grow year round in our high tunnels , fields and orchards. We participate in local farmers markets, operate a CSA, direct sales online, and utilize an interactive website for certification documentation. Sustainability is more than food production at our farm, its combining life with the love of growing food and making a difference while earning a good living. 100% Certified Organic, anything else is just conventional.

Internship Details:

Learn how to sustainability grow and manage an organic farm and business. Interns will be required to work at least 5 days per week with weekly operational classes and weekend markets. Our farm is located in the northern part of Pulaski County off hwy 107. In addition to fruits and vegetables we have added industrial hemp to our rotation. We are researching different shade, fertility and pruning methods used to grow high quality cannabis.sativa L (No THC) flowers for CBD extraction and distribution.


Educational Opportunities: Skills in running a commercial certified organic farm to include application certification and inspection, online documentation and marketing, high tunnel production of fruit and vegetables, CSA management , retail farmers market distribution, wholesale distribution, drip irrigation and water management. Industrial Hemp growing , marketing and distribution skills will be learned as well.

Skills Desired: The ability to handle hard hot work is a must.

Meals: Meals are included on working days and access to a fully equipped kitchen is available. Some cooking lessons are also provided.

Stipend: A progressive stipend is available. Interns start at $100 per week for 6 weeks and receive and additional $25 per week for each additional 3 week increments to a maximum of $200 per week.

Housing: Housing is provided on farm. WiFi and kitchen access is available.
