The perfect person we would love to have has a strong work ethic, doesn’t mind getting dirty, hard work and enjoys the fruits of their efforts. Those efforts may be just looking at the work accomplished that day and feeling good its done.
Farm life is not for everyone, it is not a set schedule job. You may have plans, but guaranteed, farm life will change them.
If you are flexible, this life may work for you. If not, its not.
This would be a paid internship position, although you will have to apply and be accepted into the U of A agriculture internship program.
20 hours a week is expected. Being on time is a must, showing up to work is not an option. Housing may be an option as long as you have additional income, such as a part time job in addition to this internship
There will be a lot of poop scooping, weed pulling, planting, hoof trimming, blood pulling, grass mowing, hay throwing and so much more in this exciting
life we live. If any of that is on your ” I don’t do” list, don’t contact.
Educational Opportunities: You will learn a lot, may just not be what you expected.
Skills Desired: Any experience with goats is a positive.
