Internship information
General Farm Description: Radical Family Farms was founded in 2019 as the first no-spray mixed-Asian vegetable CSA (community supported agriculture) in the Bay Area. Our farming practices go “beyond organic” with our no-spray, no-till, regenerative methods. We farm 1.5 acres in Sebastopol, California, a small town in West Sonoma County 1-hour north of San Francisco. By joining our community as a farm hand or intern, you will be part of a farm that centers mixed-Asian American heritage and culinary culture through the vegetables, herbs, meals and events produced on our farm. Our customers vary from home cooks, restaurant owners and families who prioritize heritage cooking and identity exploration through food. 2023 is our 5th season where we focus on Asian heritage vegetables, herbs, flowers and a minimal selection of euro-centric market style vegetables. Our main outlet is our CSA and working with select chef partners who value heritage cooking, chemical-free farming practices and a strong relationship with their farmer. If the mission of our farm speaks to you, please get in touch: contact leslie at radicalfamilyfarms@gmail.com or 707-210-2773
