Internship information
General Farm Description: At Stone Bank Farm Market, we believe in knowing where our food comes from and shaking hands with the people who grow it while honoring the land we live on. Our 75 acre farm is located in Stone Bank, Wisconsin where we sell produce, dairy products, poultry, pork, and organic grass-fed beef as well as a wide variety of artisanal foods inside our renovated historic church buliding. We aim to educate the community about the relationship between farming and food. We grow year-round in greenhouses totaling 4000 sq ft and seasonally in 100 raised vegetable gardens. The farm is dedicated to producing delicious high quality organically grown vegetables. We take great pride in using sustainable growing practices as well as regenerative agriculture in our gardens and surrounding pastures where we raise beef cattle, pigs and sheep. The 3 acres of garden space is surrounded by 75 acres that is held in the Faye Gehl conservation foundation, an education center, year round Market , commercial Kitchen, pack shed, historic barn and farmhouse.
