General Farm Description: We are a small diversified vegetable farm in our 6th year. We grow roughly 7 acres of vegetables, and serve 2 area farmers markets year round.

Internship Details:

The position is roughly 40hrs/week, 5 days/week.

Job responsibilities include:
-selling at Saturday farmers’ markets
-general field work
-transplanting
-weeding/hoeing
-greenhouse work
-harvesting
-washing & packing produce

Educational Opportunities: We are excited to share what we have learned about growing produce in this area, after having worked on numerous other farms for a decade before starting our own.

Skills Desired: We're looking for an applicant with: ​ -availability most Saturday mornings for farmers markets -the ability to work well independently & as a team - good communication skills, attention to detail, & an eye for efficiency -ability to repeatedly lift 50# crates as well as work on the ground for many hours at a time -some prior farm or other manual labor experience -a good sense of humor
