Internship Details:
We’re looking for someone who isn’t afraid to jump in and improve a program while it’s happening. Our composting program has had many iterations over the years, this newest iteration is the most significant with regards to impact and scalability. We’re looking for someone who’s excited to build a stellar educational program while also producing an important product, compost, for our market garden. This person must enjoy teaching people of all ages and have the ability to inspire others to be better consumers and stewards of their resources through the lens of composting. As a program in development, this person must be comfortable working in an entrepreneurial environment, working to sharpen processes and remove ambiguity to create a long-term, impactful community program. This person is our WHRI composting representative in the community and needs to have strong people skills to interact with and motivate our current and future local partners. We’re looking for someone who values data and evaluation to create a highly functional and educational community composting program.
