AFRI Pollinator Health: Research and Application

April 9

The Agriculture and Food Research Initiative (AFRI)—Foundational and Applied Science Program supports grants in six areas to advance knowledge in both fundamental and applied sciences important to agriculture. One of those program areas is Plant Health and Production and Plant Products, and within that area, a priority focus is Pollinator Health: Research and Application. This program supports single-function projects (research, extension, or education) with the goal of promoting healthy populations of animal pollinators in agricultural systems where reliance of crops on pollinators for pollination services is increasing and where decline of pollinators is evident. Grants up to $500,000 are available.
The application deadline has been extended to April 9, 2020.
