Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) in Wisconsin announced up to $500,000 in funding available for eligible individuals, local and state government, non-governmental organizations, and tribes through the NRCS Conservation Innovation Grants (CIG) program. The maximum amount for a single award in 2021 is $500,000 and the minimum award amount is $50,000. Applicants must match the USDA funds on a dollar-for-dollar basis. The CIG proposal must involve Environmental Quality Incentive Program (EQIP) eligible producers and should address one of these resource concerns: Conservation Planning, Manure Management Systems, or Soil Health Management Systems.
Proposals are due May 7, 2021.
