Container Farms: Unique Structures for Growing Vegetables

This one-day workshop is presented by the School for Urban Agriculture, a partnership of the Center for Integrated Agricultural Systems and Farm and Industry Short Course at UW-Madison, the Center for Resilient Cities, Community GroundWorks, and the Michael Fields Agricultural Institute. Learn how container farms are helping extend the possibilities for urban agriculture. Participants will learn to build a variety of container farms including sub-irrigated planters (SIPs), mason jar aquaponics, vertical planters and raised beds.
