Delmarva Whole System Conservation Partnership–Field to Stream

June 21

Private landowners located in the Blackwater, Choptank, Nanticoke, Pocomoke, and Wicomico watersheds in Maryland can apply to NRCS for funding to conserve and protect their land as part of the Delmarva Whole System Conservation Partnership–Field to Stream project. The Delmarva Whole System Conservation Partnership–Field to Stream project is a Regional Conservation Partnership Program (RCPP) project led by The Nature Conservancy (TNC) and the Delaware Maryland Agribusiness Association (DMAA). Offered through the Conservation Stewardship Program (CSP), funding is available to help farmers use practices that ensure the correct amount, source, placement, and timing of commercial fertilizers, manure, soil amendments, and organic by-products to agricultural landscapes as a source of plant nutrients while protecting local air, soil, and water quality and for practices that enhance native habitats.
Producers should apply by June 21, 2019.
