USDA awards competitive Farm to School Grants to be used for training, supporting operations, planning, purchasing equipment, developing school gardens, developing partnerships, and implementing farm to school programs. This year, FNS seeks to award up to $10 million to schools, school districts, nonprofits, State and local agencies, agricultural producers, and Indian tribal organizations to plan and implement farm to school activities. The RFA includes three tracks: Implementation, Planning, and a new State Agency track. Grants ranging in size from $20,000 to $100,000 are available.
Applications are due by December 13, 2019.
