This day-long workshop is part of a series presented by the School for Urban Agriculture, a partnership of the Center for Integrated Agricultural Systems and Farm and Industry Short Course at UW-Madison, the Center for Resilient Cities, Community GroundWorks, and the Michael Fields Agricultural Institute. The workshop will cover the unique opportunities and challenges in urban farming and large-scale gardening. Instructors will walk participants through farm and garden planning, design, implementation, and evaluation. Participants will engage in hands-on learning with tools and supplies at Troy Farm.
