This course is offered by Cornell Cooperative Extension as part of a series for new and aspiring land owners/lessees and beginning farmers. The class will include everything from keeping animals for domestic use to small and mid-scale commercial animal operations. It will cover production and marketing considerations for the most common livestock types (cattle, small ruminants, pigs, and poultry) as well as how to designing your farm to make the best use of your current resources.
