The Minnesota Department of Agriculture (MDA) is accepting grant applications for applied crop research that promotes economic growth and environmentally sustainable practices. The MDA anticipates awarding more than $1 million for proposals that will improve agricultural product quality, quantity, or value in Minnesota. In addition to underserved agricultural producers, preference will also be given to applicants researching crops that have limited access to other research funds and those that have financial support from participating partners. Minnesota-based organizations with agricultural research capabilities may apply, for a maximum of $250,000 per project.
Applications are due November 26, 2019.
