Rocky Mountain Seed Alliance is presenting its 2nd Mountain West Seed Summit at the Institute of American Indian Arts. This hallmark event will represent the vanguard of a burgeoning movement to reclaim seed sovereignty in local communities and create a sustainable food future rooted in local seeds. Seed growers, seed stewards, farmers, gardeners, and food activists will join together for three days of seed knowledge and networking. Speakers include author and gift economy proponent Charles Eisenstein (Sacred Economics), Mohawk seed steward Rowen White, head of the Indigenous Seed Keepers Network, and Andrew Kimbrell, Executive Director of the Center for Food Safety.
