North Jersey RC&D, with the support of a New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) Water Quality Restoration Grant, is providing funding to assist farmers in the Neshanic River, Back Brook, Holland Brook, and Pleasant Run watersheds. Farmers are eligible for opportunities to receive up to $15,000 in funding through North Jersey RC&D’s AgAssist program. The funding is aimed to assist farmers in improving water quality and soil health on their farms through their projects or practices. The AgAssist Program offers a reimbursement (50-90% depending on practice) toward equipment, supplies, and expenses required to implement a variety of soil health best management practices.
