Northeast Sustainable Agriculture Research & Education (SARE) offers Farmer Grants for commercial producers who have an innovative idea they want to test using a field trial, on-farm demonstration, marketing initiative, or other technique. Projects should seek results other farmers can use, and all projects must have the potential to add to our knowledge about effective sustainable practices. Grants are capped at $15,000 and projects can run up to two years. Farmers in Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, West Virginia, and Washington, D.C., are welcome to apply.
Proposals are due by November 17, 2020.
