In conjunction with Organicology, the Organic Farming Research Foundation will hold the 2019 Organic Agriculture Research Forum. The forum will feature talks from researchers, farmers, students, and other agriculture specialists chosen for their innovative excellence and relevance to the advancement of organic agriculture, implementation of sustainable practices, and improvement of our food system overall. Presentations will cover a variety of topics ranging from organic farming for climate change, crop cultivars developed for organic systems, and organic pest and weed management. Farmers, ranchers, extension staff, educators, agricultural professionals, and others interested in organic agriculture are invited to attend. NCAT’s Jeff Schahczenski is one of the presenters at this event.
