Pastured Broilers and Processing

This workshop from University of California Cooperative Extension and partners including NCAT is geared towards prospective, beginning, or intermediate farmers interested in raising broiler flocks free-ranged or on pasture. During this day-long workshop, participants will get familiarized with several aspects of pastured-poultry production. The workshop will also feature a hands-on processing workshop to teach participants how to slaughter and dress meat hens.
