University of Mount Olive AgPrime provides grants to North Carolina farmers for new and innovative agricultural project ideas that will increase farm profits. This grant program, which is supported by the North Carolina Tobacco Trust Fund Commission, was designed to strengthen farms and communities that were negatively impacted by the downturn of the tobacco economy. North Carolina residents in 33 designated counties, who are agriculturally dependent and who have viable ideas for new and innovative agricultural projects, are eligible for grants up to $10,000. A 10% cash match is required.
Applications are due December 18, 2020.
