Virginia Farmer Listening Session on Addressing Issues Related to COVID-19

March 30 @ 9:00 am - 10:30 am

March 30, 2020
Online

The National Center for Appropriate Technology (NCAT) and Virginia Association for Biological Farming want to hear from Virginia farmers during this COVID crisis and find out ways those in our network and beyond are handling these changes to our growing season, supply chain, and overall livelihood. Learn from each other and discuss the challenges you are facing, explore opportunities that are arising as a result of this crisis, and the innovative responses underway to keep our communities safe but also well nourished. Hear from Lee O’Neill, of Radical Roots Farm, and Heather Coiner, of Little Hat Creek Farm, on how they’ve pivoted to deal with the COVID-19 crisis and finding new market avenues. This will be the first of a series of calls.
