Honoring Soil Health Pioneer David Brandt

Soil Health Academy & Understanding Ag, LLC report that soil health and regenerative farming pioneer David Brandt, of Carroll, Ohio, passed away May 21, 2023. Brandt was an original founding partner of Understanding Ag, LLC and the non-profit Soil Health Academy, along with Ray Archuleta, Gabe Brown, and Allen Williams. As an early adopter of regenerative farming, Brandt was an inspiration and a mentor to many. His instruction on regenerative farming was invaluable in helping countless farmers learn and implement new methods of caring for the land.
