“Seasonal, Full Time Flower Production Assistant<br>
-40-50 hours per week, Wednesdays- Sundays
This position, under the supervision of the Flower Production Manager, will entail helping with all aspects of our flower production program from sowing, weeding, transplanting, and harvesting, to arranging flowers. It also includes working one Farmers' Market a week. This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion and interest in flowers to learn about a financially successful organic production operation. Opportunity for long term employment and advancement possible.
Pay: starting $10-12/hour with 6 month reviews of performance for raises, health insurance benefits
The ideal candidate is self-motivated, a team player, quick learner, good work ethic, has a passion for flowers and enthusiasm to learn.
Qualifications: previous flower and farming experience required, detail-oriented, artistically inclined, good communication skills, customer service skills/farmers' market experience preferred, basic Spanish a plus
