General Farm Description: "Foothill Roots Farm is a young and growing diversified farm in Meadow Vista California. We are located on the beautiful Simpson Ranch in the foothills of Northern California minutes from the American River. The 150 acre historic ranch is comprised of oak and pine woodlands and a handful of meadows that border the waters of Wooley Creek. We cultivate 4.5 acres of mixed vegetables, perennial berries, flowers, raise a few heritage hogs, and have a small flock of sheep for brushing. Now in our sixth growing season we supply our 100 + member CSA, farm stand, and wholesale accounts with the highest quality produce available. More information about the farm can be found on our website,, photos and updates can be seen on our Facebook and Instagram (@foothillroots) pages. "
